The Band

OUTN RUNNING are a 4 piece rock covers band who play classic songs from the last four decades. They mainly cover artists such as ACDC, Thin Lizzy, Blink 182, The Kinks, Kaiser Chiefs, KOL, Green Day, Radiohead and many more. Their energetic frontman, Sean, combined with the musical prowess of the rest of the guys never fail to impress! You just have to see them to understand !

With their driven energy and sense of fun they make every event memorable for all the right reasons! ON R expect to have a good time and expect their audience to have a good time too. No excuses !

OUTN RUNNING perform at a variety of events including Corporate events, Weddings, Social clubs and Pubs. Examples are the Buckfest Beer Festival, DUBAID. With their own 3.5K Sound System, fantastic Light Show and recorded musical entertainment, ONR can provide an evening long show of both live and interval music. In addition sets can be varied to cater for many tastes.

2011 has brought some changes for the band and we have to say a fond farewell to the bands long standing drummer Steve.....He has been a driving force behing the band's recent success and will be sadley missed....we wish him all the best for the future :)

Outnrunnning would like to give a big warm welcome to Chris Hillcock......our new drummer....He has been doing a great job so far and is definatley now one of the ONR boyz!!!!...

Chris (hilly): Drummer

Chris joins ONR in 2011 with a strong desire to play live and gig with the ONR carnage!!
Chris has been playing drums for the last 17 years and uses a Yamaha Maple Custom Kit.....

Influences are Anton Fig, John Miceli (Meatloaf) and Matt Sorum (Gun's and Roses).
His fave music is American stuff like Rock and Roll, country/rockabilly and rhythm & Blues.....Favorite artists are Jerry Lee Lewis, Elvis, Meatloaf , Kings of Leon, Outnrunning :)

Chris in the day is a Firefighter....and a good one at that...

With all out energy and passaz...Chris is already rocking to a great future with Outnrunning. 

CHRIS: Bass Guitar/ Backing Vocals.

Chris has also played in a number of local cover bands and, as well as being a bass guitarist, is also a formidable lead guitarist and boasts an enviable Ibanez lead guitar in his collection. Chris is reknowned for his background steady bass work yet, when called upon, in songs such as A Town Called Malice, Alright Now and Johnny Be Good, demonstrates with relative ease how the Bass Guitar quite rightfully earns its place as a 'lead' instrument at times.

Dave: Lead Guitar/ Backing Vocals

Dave joined Out N Running in June 08 having been playing guitar in and around Bristol for a lot of years with mainly covers bands.
Dave comments that

 “ONR are an exciting new challenge and a tremendous opportunity to get back to real music and be a part of something that really can put on a show”.

His musical interests these days vary from contemporary folk to almost metal and have stretched from the mid sixties to date ! However first love is always blues and blues rock, and he lists among his heroes Gary Moore, Eric Clapton and Carlos Santana. 

SEAN: Vocals / Guitar.

Sean joins Out N Running with a fresh, new energetic approach and a vast repertiore of songs and experience. Sean's love of music has taken him around the world from the London Palladium to cruising along the Virgin Islands. He has now settled and enjoys being the frontman with Out N Running...
