We are on sort of spring break :) rehearsing....doing stuff to the kit and havin some holidays. You may see us round
and about but please dont hassle us too much.....please respect our privacy and ignore us if you see any of us in
the street. You may think fame is a laugh....but really.....its a burden you just wouldnt want. Back out at THE

Saturday 20th March 2011 

had such an amazin time at DUBAID nr Bath over the weekend. It was a great event and a worthy cause...we're so pleased we got asked to headine on Friday. There really were some fantastic acts over the two days.

Saturday 26th Febuary 2011 -

had another fantastic night at The Salthousein Clevedon......what great venue !!! We can'wait to be back in the summer. Tnx to everyone that came...great to see you all :) In the meantime Gary and the team have some brilliant live music lined up for you. Go and see them...its a brilliant venue....support it ! Next stop for us is The Raglan in Weston next Saturday. c u there :)

What a great nite at The Sherston Inn , Wells......it ROCKED!!!!!....We will be back there later this year so a big thank you to all involved.

Monday 31st January 2011 - 


We're back on our website !!! We have had no end of problems wiht the site the last couple of months but here we are...remmebr also to checkout the Facebook page :)

We have had a great time since the last update. Busy as ever and without listing the vemues we were playing every week up until Xmas :). Then we had a rest - then in Jan we were back out to The Claude in Cardiff, Crab Apple in Clevedon and then .....

The Anchor - Bristol - fabtastic  !! we love it there.

The Mansion House - Bridgwater - The best live venue in town

The Pier (2 days ago) - what a place and was it packed !!!!

So, we're back up and running and at THE CAT & WHEEL in Bristol on Sat 5th Feb. Everyone knows the Cat & Wheel so get down there !!! We welcome Chris Hillcock on drums, with us for the first time :)

Finally a massive thanks and sad farewell to STEVE DANIEL our long term (6ys) drummer and massive, massive contributor to the success of the band. We wish him so much luck and best wishes and hope we see him soon.

Yep, The Claude(Cardiff) on Friday was amazing followed by Scallys lastnight in Weston - always a brilliant night. What's more - we got fans !!! We see the same faces around and about with us :) Thanks to you all and we're loving it.

Next weekend we are resting and practising but back out the following weekend.

Friday 12th November 2010 - 


Well since we last posted we have been at THE DRAWBRIDGE in Bristol for their final live music night and then we provided music for Dan and Becs wedding last weekend, near Weston. It was a great night and we can't wait to do the next wedding......especially if we get another bridegroom who wants to get up and play with us :)

So, tonight its THE CLAUDE in Cardiff followed by SCALLYS in Weston tomorrow. Two of our favourite venues and we hope to see loads of people there again :)

Well, it was every bit as good as we hoped at THE BACKBAR in Weston lastnight. We had a blast !! many thanks to Mike Headington from The Fanzines for doing a number with us - look forward to the next time !! A great night  and a great crowd. Back after Xmas :)

Next for us is THE RECKLESS ENGINEER in Bristol. A great rock venue with a great rock crowd. C u there :)

Saturday 2nd October 2010 -

Been a while hasn't it ? :) September was quiet with a few more holidays to take but we were back out there at THE RAGLAN in Weston and THE PIER in Burnham last weekend. Tonight it's back to THE BACKBAR in Weston for the first time in 6 months. It's always a great place to play. Always a great crowd. We look forward to seeing you all there tonight for some top rockin music :).

As expected we had a fantastic time at SCALLY'S in Weston lastnight. A great crowd and and a great cause - we were pleased to be a part of it. It was good also to play with Bees Like Honey and Fallen Apples - two great bands.

We're back at Scallys in Nov but next stop is THE RAGLAN in Weston on the 18th Sept - yep - one of us is on holiday again !!

Back from our holidays now !

Friday at THE MANSION HOUSE in Bridgwater and Saturday at THE QUEENS HEAD in Box were great. A good turnout for both and our first time at The Queens Head. Thanks Dean for asking us to come back when next years bookings start - and for teh festival in summer 2011. Thanks alos to  our stand-in drummer TOMMY FORD - he did a great job with little time to prepare. We all hope we play with him again.

Sunday 25th July 2010 -

A busy few weeks have been had by ONR ahead of our annual holidays :) THE CROSS RIFLES (Br'water), O'NIELLS (Bristol), THE ANCHOR(Bristol) and THE SALTHOUSE (Clevedon) ! Our first time at the first two and we did have good nights at all....we'll be back at both later in the year.

Now we're off for a few weeks, coming back to THE MANSION HOUSE on the 20th August :)

Saturday 8th July 2010 -

A great night as always at SCALLY'S in Weston last week - we absolutely love it there and we can't wait to be back. As it happens we're back in August - more details to follow - you're gonna love that one !!!

Last-night was THE CROSS RIFLES in Bridgwater.  Our first visit there, thanks to everyone for making us so welcome and for asking us to come back. See you as soon as we can !! 

Next stop is Bristol for O'Neills on Friday and THE ANCHOR on Saturday :)

Sunday 27th June 2010 -

Last weekeend we were at THE DRAWBRIDGE on The Centre in Bristol. It turned out to be a great night :) Dave and Sean did some busking outside the Hippodrome and not only did we earn some beer and £7.40 but we got a big group of Aimy Winehouses into the pub with us for the evening !!! We had a great time - tnx girls - whoever you are. 

It's been a great first half of the year for us and we are so pleased at how busy we have been. Second half looks just as good - better - and it's gonna be a laugh. This weekend some of us are at Glasto so nothing happening for ONR but we can't wait to be back at Scally's in Weston on July 3rd.

Sunday 6th June 2010 -

It's been busy and it must be wedding season !!

We had a great night with Si & Carole lastnight at their wedding party in Churchill. We love weddings. It's always a fantastic night and we get fed...couldn't be better. Thanks to everyone for making us welcome and very best wishes to you both for the future. :)

Next weeks is another wedding - Chris & Nick in Weston. Another good night for sure :)

Let's not forget The Mansion House in Bridgewater and The Old Pier in Burnham last weekend - brilliant nights at both and thanks to all again. Good to see more people showing up to have a look at us. Keep it coming !!

If you are not at Chris & Nick's wedding next weekend then we'll see you at Scally's in Weston on July 3rd (break for Glasto).

What a great night THE SALTHOUSE was !!! We always love playing there.

We've been on holiday - it's been quiet I know :) - but we're back. We're at THE MANSION HOUSE in Bridgwater on Friday 20th and then THE QUEENS HEAD in Box on Saturday 21st. Come and see !!!

Thursday 22nd July 2010 -

What a busy weekend that was :) We're far too old to be playing twice in 2 days !!

O'Neill's was brilliant - have'nt been therre before but we had a great time and thanks to Sean and the staff for making us welcome. Thanks also for booking us again - back in December !!!

The Anchor was also great - feels like home now - quieter cos all the students have gone home but a roickin night none the less. Back there in November. 

Next stop is Clevedon for THE SALTHOUSE on Saturday :)

Well a big thank you to all that came and seen us at the Poacher in Portishead on friday ......what a great night! (Thanks Mark) and also the Borough arms in WSM.

We have had a break for a week now...to get our heads together and prepare for another      on-slaught from ONR at The Mansion House (Bridgewater) on the 27th of May and The Old Pier (Burnham-on-sea).

Fantastic night at The Brunel in Bristol last night !!!! The pub is great and a strong supporter of live music so support them !! Food is nice too :)Wow  that was a long 2 week break :). !!!

Tuesday 4th May 2010 -

Wow  that was a long 2 week break :). !!!

The BackBar in Weston was fantastic as always - a great crowd and fantastic feedback. We even threw in a few new songs !!. This week we are playing at The Brunel in Bristol for their re-opening/refurb party and it's gonna be a loud and lively night. As usual - we can't wait :)

Friday 16th April 2010 -

Well we're on a 2 week gig break while we do some rehearsals and have a bit of holiday but we can't wait to be back out playing again on the 1st of May.

The Reckless in Bristol was indeed fantastic and we're back there in Oct for a tickets only event - but we'll keep you posted. The Anchor again in Bristol last week was brilliant and we love playing there; and it's great to be continually asked for more dates.

So, next stop is back to Weston for a gig at The Back Bar on May 1st - a truly awesome music venue and we love playing there. After that check our dates as we are busy right through to the end of the year :)

Tuesday 30th March 2010 - 

Well, The Pier in Burnham at the weekend was one of our best gigs ever !! A great audience that didn't want us to stop - theough we did by 2 am :) We really love it there and we'll be back at the end of May sp look out for us !!!!

So, it's been a busy time and the bookings keep coming in. Come and see us...we are good...really ! Next stop is The Reckless Engineer in Bristol on Saturday 3rd. See you there !

Tuesday 23rd March 2010 -

The Claude in Cardiff was excellenet ! A great and lively venue that loves music. We'll be back there later in the year and thanks to the staff and to Tony for making us welcome. Thanks also to Tony for inviting us to play at other S Wales venues through the year.

This coming weekend is a busy one with Catherines Inn (Weston) on Friday and The Old Pier in Burnham on Saturday. Come if you can.

Sunday 14th March 2010 -

Scallys lastnight was tremendous......wish we knew who ended up on stage with us .... and then there was the dancin on the chairs !!!

Scallys is a great venue and we love playing there - we're back in July and can't wait.

Monday 7th March 2010 -

The Drawbridge was fantastic and great to be playing in Bristol. Gareth and the staff made us very welcome and we really want to see it take off as a music venue in the middle of town.

Support it !!!

We're back there in June and hopefully you'll start to see other Bristol bands instage there too.

Late Jan February has been great. the Mansion House in Bridgewater feels like home for us and we can't wait to get back there - always a good night THanks Sam and Dan). The Salthouse in Clevedon ( a great night Gary and thanks for the drinks after) and  then The Imp in Weston. The Imp is legendary and we alwyas love playing there.

We then did Kates wedding in Clevedon and DB's in Weston - it's been busy !!!

Off to the Drawbridge in Bristol next - the first time for us and a new live music venture for them. Be there !!

Things are going fantastically ! We can't wait to be at The Mansion House in Bridgewater tomorrow and we've taken three more bookings for Bristol venues today. Look out for us in a few weeks at The Brunel in Bedminster and (new to the list) The Drawbridge on the Centre in Bristol. The Drawbridge looks set to be a great music venue in a brilliant location and we can't wait to play there.

Friday 1st January 2010 -

HAPPY NEW YEAR to everyone !!

After our plans for NY Eve with The Imp changed at a very late stage we ended up having a fantastic time at Dartington Hall down in Devon instead. We provided the usual ONR Total Music Package, taking care of all their NY musical entertainment for the evening - the dancing just didn't stop. Funny how things work out - what a night !!

A brief quote from their Duty Manager Steve Thomas....

"...the lads did a fantastic job for us. They really went out of their way to provide top quality entertainment for our guests from when they arrived until the early hours . I look forward to seeing them back again in 2010. "

It's gonna be a great year for us. The interest grows and we continue to spread the ONR word around the South West; doing our usual pub and club events along with parties, weddings and corporates. Come and have a look.....no-one goes home dissappointed.

We're back out in two weeks time (16th Jan) at The Anchor in Bristol (Gloucester Road).

We had a great time last night on our first outing at The Anchor on Gloucester Road in Bristol. Steve and the staff made us very welcome and we brought the ONR experince to a new audience. We have been given slots at The Anchor for later in the year so check the gigs page for details - if you can't wait we're next back there on the 10th of April.

Our next dates now take us out of the area to Bridgewater (Mansion House) on the 29th of Jan and then onto the Salthouse in Clevedon on the 6th Feb.

We had a great time at Paul and Kate's wedding party on Friday. We did the usual ONR disco and live music package and everyone had a great time:

We like parties. Everyone wantys to have a good time and we get fed !

Just taken our first booking for Cardiff !!! The Claude. A very lively and active music venue and we can't wait to get there.....having to pay the bridge toll is a small price for what will be a great night :) Come if you can.

Tomorrow we're at a wedding - playing not attending - in Clevedon so no ONR for the general public this week. Dont' worry - we're back in circulation next week at db's in Weston so be there if you can !!!!!!!

What a great night at The Drawbridge in Bristol last night !! Many thanks to Gareth and the staff and to all those who came to have a look at us. We'll be back in a couple of months.

The Drawbridge is gonna be a great City Centre music venue so SUPPORT IT !!!!

We'll be at The Borough in Weston for the first time in May btw but next for us is Scallys in Weston - see you there !!

We had an amazing time at Scallys on Saturday ! We just loved the dancin on chairs and we felt so welcome and its always great if the audience want more.  Anyone know who the young lady was on stage with us btw ????

It was a great night at The Poacher in Portishead and we are always made to feel very welcome there - thanks Mark ! We (mainly Sean !) gave all and we were pleased to see people there from a recent wedding fayre that we had attended, plus a few regulars that we see at gigs around and about. We're back in May next year but in the meantime we have a busy schedule so check the diary for upcoming bookings. Next is The Portishead Working Mens club on the 5th Dec follwed by The Reckless Engineer in Bristol on the 12th Dec. Hope to see you there. Tuesday 24th November -

The Imp last Saturday. Massive apologies to all that showed up to the Imp to see us. We're truly sorry ! Sean our slighty energetic singer was taken ill close to the gig and could not perform. The Imp is a great venue and it broke our hearts to pull out but WE'RE BACK AT THE IMP ON THE 19TH DEC !!! Please come. This week it's The Poacher in Portishead (Friday) Always a good night so we hope to see you there.

Sunday 15th November -

So much going on it's hard to keep up ! Last weekend we attended our first wedding fayre in Portishead just to spread the word about ONR and the great time we deliver at weddings and parties. We had loads of interest and we are working our way through the list of follow up contacts now. If we haven't got back to you yet apologies but it's just down to the level of interest on the day - we were a bit caught out ! On Friday we went down to The Mansion House in Bridgewater for the first time and packed the place out ! Us and the audience had a riot and we were so pleased as it was our first visit to the town. We will be back there in 2010 but if you can't wait for dates we are at The Cross Rifles on the 26th Feb. Yesterday was a really special event in Weston at the Social Club in Bournville. The organisers had put together a fantastic event to raise money for 'Help for Heroes'. We provided the usual musical entertainment - live and disco - and the place was rammed ! The bar ran out of glasses on more than one occaission and we will be back. What a great night and a great result for such a very worthy cause. Back at The Imp next week on the 21st and don't forget the Imperial New Year Party with ONR. Tickets go on sale next week.

Tuesday 3rd November -

A great time at The Huntsman on Halloween night - loads of fancy dress - very nice ! - and we look forward to going back in the New Year. We're busy right through to NY now and we then take a break until 2010 gets underway in mid Jan. In the meantime look out for us in the next few weeks around Bristol and Weston ONR don't let you down ! See for yourself !

Saturday 31st October - 

Off down to Williton - The Royal Huntsman - tonight after performing at a really good private function last night. We got fed again (always a bonus) and as usual everyone had a great time and even ONR were in fancy dress ! Back in Weston at Scallys on the 7th Nov followed by a bit of a trip round Portishead and Bristol in Nov/Dec finishing the year on NY Eve at The Imp, back in Weston ! Bit Busy !!

Wednesday 28th October - 
  

The Imp in Weston was fantastic and we have had some brilliant feedback...........and we're back there in Nov..........and for NEW YEAR's EVE !!!!!! How much better can it get ! Mnay thanks to Suzanne for making us so welcome. Did anyone catch our interview on Star FM ???? There's only one reason why we are the area's busiest new band. Everyone has a great time when we play - we make sure of it. If you haven't had the ONR experience yet don't miss out. We're out of the area for the next couple of weekends (see gig list) but back at Scallys in Weston on the 7th Nov. See you then we hope.

Sunday 18th October - 

We've had a great time this weekend with ONR running all the music again for a fantastic party near Exeter - thanks Rupert & Becky !! The floor was filled all evening, we got fed for the second weekend running and and we can't tell you how much fun us and the 200+ partygoers had. We're hoping to do more of this kind of event next year - we think we have something a bit special and now so do quite a few other people. Talk to us if you have an event - wedding, party, etc etc - in mind. So, we're at The Imp in Weston on Friday and very much looking forward to it - it's been a while. It's a great venue, ONR cant't wait and we'll be really happy to see you all there.

Sunday 11th October -

It's been a great weekend with TheArrow in Yoevil on Friday and a wedding near Burnham yesterday. We've been trying to get to The Arrow for ages and we were pleased that it finally came off. We were particularly pleased to be joined onstage by the fantastic singer Natalie Gowan for a couple of songs and we hope she calls in on a gig again soon ! We're back at The Arrow next year. The wedding of Lee & Lisa yesterday was a fun event for us. They let us sort the musical entertainment for the whole event from reception to close, and us and the guests had a brilliant time. One of the highlights was an appearance by a local singer - Deshita - who we supported with backing tracks and mix etc. She went down very well - very talenhted singer. Later on we supported a bit of a show put on by one of Lee's mates - then there was us - ONR. We played for about 2 1/2 hours and got everyone up dancing and involved and really enjoyed ourselves. Sunday 27th September -

 Scally's in Weston was great last night - always a fantastic place to play and we look forward to our next visit ! We're around and about ove rthe next few weeks so catch us if you can and have plans to air some original stuff in the set in the not too distant future. 2010 is starting to take shape with bookings coming in - see you soon !

Saturday 5th Sept -

ONR have had a busy summer!!! and now with winter just round the corner we are looking forward to the future... We have a short break now with family catch ups and holiday time but back with a vengence in Scally's WSM on the 26th September... ONR have also been asked to attend a Cloud Nine Wedding fayre on the 8th Nov at The Somerset Hall, Portishead..open to the public at 11am-4pm. so if you are looking for a wedding band ..come and see us..we are giving great discount deals for bookings on the day for 2010!!!! With new songs going onboard each month , our song list is growing from strength to strength. We hope to see you all very soon....so dont sit at home ...come out and have some fun with the ONR boys!!! Wednesday 19th August - Well Back Bar was Brilliant, so thanx for all your support....NEWS JUST IN ..Outnrunning have been asked to play at the Buckfest Beer Festival on Saturday 22nd at 4Pm.....things are looking up for us now...so if you are there we look forward to seeing you!!!

Tuesday 11th August -

 Well a big thank you again for all your support over the last 8 months, ONR have grown from strength to strength! We now have a diary that has nearly got us booked up for the whole year. Next year has already been requested so we cant wait to see all really soon. With New Songs, More energy than before and a great following, ONR are a band to see at the moment!! Hopefully we shall see you at the Back Bar on the 15th August or at The Salthouse In Clevedon on the 22nd! cheers........... Saturday 11th July –

We've been back rehearsing over the last couple of weeks so we could get some nice new songs on the liust for July. We aired one or two last night at The Poacher (a good night - thanks !) and we're off to try them again at The Nut Tree in Worle tonight. Come if you can - it's raining - what else can you do and you'll have a great time with us at the pub !!

Saturday 18th June – 

Well, we've had a our mini break since the Back Bar (back there later in the year) and we're looking forward to The Golden Lion in Worle this Saturday. Some new songs to air to make sure you're there. We're fast becoming one of the busiest bands in the area

Back Bar brilliant!!!!....Great to see people from the nut tree coming down and seeing us again...you know who you are!... Imperial on the 13th june so be there!!....bring your friends 

Tuesday 26th May – 

Coming away with a great tour under our belts, ONR are now looking forward to the BACK BAR in Weston-super-mare on the 30th of May. As the Gigs pass by, our fan base grows from strength to strength so we would like to thank you all for your ongoing support and help during our time on the road this Bank Holiday Weekend. Here's to the rest of the year and once again if you have missed Outnrunning.......its time to get out of your seats, put your dancing shoes on and come out and see our great live band........You know it makes sense!!!!

Thursday 21st May –


Well, wish us luck as we start our mini tour this weekend ! Portishead Friday, Worle Saturday and then on Sunday afternoon, then down to Exeter for Sunday night. Gonna be knackered Thursday 7th May – It's been a great couple of months! The Nut Tree in Worle was a real joy as was Scally's and The Borough Arms and we're very much looking forward to being back at the Nut Tree on the 23rd. Thanks also to Carol at The Nut Tree for asking us back the following day (24th) to be part of their outdoor event. Looks like it's going to be a good one so make sure you're there We're having a great time at the moment with loads of dates in the book and some amazing feedback. We're looking forward now to being in Bristol, Bath and further afield in late 2009/2010.

Monday 13th April – 

Scally's was a great success!!, so a big thank you goes out to all the bar staff and kev and we look forward to seeing you in september, Well peeps we all hope you have a great Easter and look forward to playing live at the Nut Tree Worle, WSM on Friday 24th April.....So see you there

Wednesday 1st April –

 Once again a huge big thank you for all your support over the last few months ONR have started to get a growing fan base and great feedback from all the venues we have done After going down well at the Reckless Engineer Bristol and some great gigs lined up for the Three Queens in Weston ONR are going from strength to strength We look forward to Good friday at Scallys in Weston....So come on down and have a listen...!!

Wednesday 4th March –

 The Imperial last Saturday was great and thanks to George and the staff for making us welcome. It was good to see so many people there having a good time. We'll be back there on June 13th and then again on Sept 19th. We're looking forward to it HUGELY ! We have a break for a couple weeks now to work on the setlist and some new kit. However we're back in Bristol at The Reckless Engineer on the 27th March and then The Three Queens in Weston the following day. We are having a seriously good time at the moment !

 Thanks for coming to see us at The Wellington last night we had a good time and if music continues there we'll be back. Don't forget we're at The Imperial in Weston on Saturday the 28th Feb !

Sunday 22nd Feb -

 Well, we had an AMAZING time last night at The Salthouse in Clevedon. Everyone was up for a good time and many thanks to all who came and there were many, and to Gary and the staff for making us welcome and for asking us to come back later in the year. Back there on the 22nd August and looking forward to it! For those of you who can't wait to see the show then we're at the Wellington in Horfield Bristol tonight !

Wednesday 18th Feb –

The CD is out there and seems to be going down well around the pubs and clubs. We even thought it sounded good. It shows we're an able band able to take on most things and do them well

Sunday 8th Feb –

 Well, we've recorded the demo CD ! It was a fantastic experience and many thanks to our engineer in the studio, Steve. He really did a great job of keeping us on track and ensuring a product that can now be mixed and finished. Copies will be avaliable over the next 2 weeks. We also had a good time at a the Rock Gardens on Friday night - shame about the weather ! We look forward to being back there in July. See you at the Salthouse on the 21st.

Thursday 5th Feb –

 We had a great time at the Golden Lion last night and thanks to everyone who turned out on such a bad night! We're off to The Rock Gardens in Weston tomorrow (Fri 6th) and then recording over the weekend. Hope to c u all in Weston.

Sunday 25th Jan –

 We had a fantastic gig in Sherborne last night, to help celebrate the wedding of Dave and Sue. Many congratulations to them both and thanks to everyone for making us so welcome, for feeding us......and for keeping us on the stage for so long ! We're now hugely looking forward to our Feb gigs starting with the brilliant Golden Lion in Fishponds on the 4th (that ok Ben?). Make sure you're all there and spending money!

Thursday 15th Jan –

 The ONR diary is starting to fill nicely for 2009 and we're pleased with the level of interest. We continue to add new songs for this year but still maintain our usual mix of old and new - Steve being the oldest. We're playing pretty much in Weston and Bristol so far, so look out for us and put some money over the bars!

Wednesday 7th Jan –

 ONR will be recording our first demo on the 7th/8th of Feb so watch out for it around and about - it'll be a good one. The dvd has been well received and is beginning to generate bookings. We look forward to making our mark on Bristol this year so be ready!

Monday 5th Jan –

HAPPY NEW YEAR to all from Out N running!! Well people ONR are back into the studio to record new demo for the New Year so watch this space. 2009 is going to be a good year for the band so we will keep you all posted with gig updates and information...... Well with Christmas around the corner and only a few weeks left for 2008 Out N running are now looking forward to great 2009, Our diary should be busy for next year in local areas such as Bristol and WSM, so watch this space!! A Big Thank you to all who came on Saturday nite at Gordano Rugby Club and what a great turn out! A hopeful revisit booked for next April (one for the diary), We all had a great time and look forward to seeing you all again very soon....... Next gig so far is down in Bristol At The Golden Lion Fishponds...It's a mid week gig At a Great venue, so a good nite out to be had by all...so get yourselves down there for some more Out N running Shenanigans!!!
